Our one and two hour trail rides wind through aspen groves and sage hillsides with spectacular views. The wildlife, wildflowers and views will keep heads spinning. Remember your camera!
We welcome riders age 7 and older on the trails, and the younger buckaroos have a chance to test their riding skills on ponies at the stables.
Our three hour picnic ride follows the same trail as the two hour trail and makes a stop at the top of the mountain to enjoy a catered deli lunch in a meadow. Appetites are plentiful; even the horses snack on the green mountain grass. After a deli lunch, an hour's ride finds you back at the stables.
The Beaver Lake ride is considered a day ride, lasting 5-6 hours total. Each ride is appropriate for any riding and comfort level. Horses are selected to fit the needs of the rider, and each saddle comes equipped with a rain slicker for unpredicted rain showers, but remember to wear a hat as slickers do not have hoods.
Follow the rushing creek up to Beaver Lake for one and a half hours. At the lake, the horses rest while you take in the beauty and peacefulness of the mountains and water. Touring on horseback lets the rider take in the wonders of the Rockies!
